About NashleaÂ
Nashlea Brogan, Doctor of Audiology, is a Canadian speaker, educator, and hearing health leader with a voice that bridges science, story, and lived experience.
Diagnosed with progressive hearing loss at 14, Nashlea spent decades navigating the emotional and everyday challenges of hearing decline—first with hearing aids, and later with cochlear implants. Her personal journey fuels everything she does, from stage to clinic to online.
In 2004, she founded Bluewater Hearing & Balance, now a recognized leader and speaker in relationship-based care for hearing loss, tinnitus, and brain health. She’s spoken across Canada and internationally to both the public and professionals, sharing insights on hearing, communication, and identity in a way that resonates far beyond the clinical world.
Her work has been featured in podcasts, publications, and her TEDx talk, where she invites audiences to rethink what it really means to listen.

Today, Nashlea leads Still Listening—a space for speaking, teaching, and real conversations about hearing, listening, leadership,  and staying connected. Through talks, workshops, and soon, a podcast, she helps people navigate the quieter struggles that often go unnoticed—but matter most.
Whether you're looking to book a speaker, invite a podcast guest, co-create an article, or collaborate on a meaningful project—Nashlea welcomes conversations that lead to impact. If her work speaks to something you’re building or exploring, she’d love to hear from you.
